Hi, I’m Danielle Moher, owner, lead designer, and licensed contractor at Botanically Crafted Landscapes. With over 15 years in the landscape industry, I turn my passion for nature and design into outdoor spaces that bring people together.
I earned a Bachelor’s from SDSU and an Associate’s in Landscape Architecture from Southwestern College. Specializing in custom carpentry, hardscapes, and climate-friendly plant selections, I blend design and nature to deliver standout landscape design and build services. Highly recommend Danielle and the Botanically Crafted team! We worked with them on a full design for our front and back yards and then an install for our front yard. Danielle is very communicative and her passion for her work comes through with every interaction. She took the time to understand our vision for our outdoor space, as well as our limitations, and created a plan for both yards that truly suited our needs and lifestyle.
The construction team completely transformed our sad front yard dirt patch into a lovely pollinator garden. The crew was friendly, efficient and took care to work with as minimal disruption as possible. Danielle has stopped by weekly since the install was completed to make sure our plants are settling in well. We greatly appreciate the whole team for making this a smooth process. We love coming home to our beautiful yard and have received many compliments from our neighbors as well.

We recently had our front and side yards completely redone by Botanically Crafted. We live in Talmadge in San Diego. They did a beautiful, beautiful job, We had all of the grass and ratty old bushes and trees removed, and replaced with lovely new trees and bushes, grasses, flowers, and ground cover. We also had all of the irrigation upgraded, and also installed lights to illuminate the house and decorations. The lights are programmable, so we can change the colors depending on the season or holiday. Danielle Moher, who owns the company, Botanically Crafted, is such a pleasure to work with. She knows SO MUCH about plants and trees, and picked beautiful specimens for our yard. I think Danielle made sure we got really good plants from the local suppliers. We also had some decorative rocks installed, which are a great touch. We also had a very large fence installed along our canyon property to protect people and dogs from falling down there, VERY STEEP and dangerousl. Danielle's carpenter is wonderful and does excellent work. Danielle's staff of laborers and supervisors are also wonderful. Very nice guys, very neat, and friendly. So anyway, we would definitely recommend Botanically Crafted if you need to redo your yard. We can now hold up our heads again in the neighborhood.

From design to construction to completion the process was excellent and the end result at my La Mesa house was just beautiful. Danielle's design was totally compatible with what I wanted, low maintenance and watering, attractive to pollinators such as bees and hummingbirds, and colorful. Her hard-working crew members were polite, respectful of my property and always cleaned up everything at the end of the day. The workmanship on the block wall, pavers and brick walkway was exceptional. Danielle came by my property at least 3 times a week and was always available by phone, text or email.

Danielle was a delight to work with throughout the process of our landscape update out in Scripps Ranch. From design, build out, to final touches. Danielle came highly recommended to us by a friend and she has been a pleasure to work with from the start. She is very approachable and easy to work with. Her knowledge and passion for landscape design and plants is impressive as well as infectious! Our front, back and side yards were basically a big dirt patch with soooo many weeds and overgrown bushes. Danielle took the time to listen carefully and understand our style, needs, and goals for our yard. She took the few ideas I had and incorporated them into a beautiful plan that included a new walkway, new concrete, DG, lovely colors of stone/pebble, and so many beautiful plants! She also took care of drainage and watering so it truly is low maintenance for us. Her communication, guidance and attention to detail has helped keep our project stay on track. Her outstanding crew came on time every single day, even in the scorching heat, to work on our project. They deserve recognition for all the hard work and sweat they put into transforming our space. Our yard is finally a place I like to look at and the whole family loves to spend time in. I am so thankful to Danielle and the Botanically Crafted Crew for making this happen for us.

We engaged Botanically Crafted Landscapes for the construction on a large project, and could not have been happier with the process, or more pleased with the results. We redesigned our front, back, and side yards in their entirety: demo (with lots of heavy digging and grading), new hardscape (flagstone and mortared path, a large poured-in-place concrete wall with wooden fencing, and a stone seat wall), the creation of a new food garden (fruit trees and raised vegetable beds), lots of new planting (trees, shrubs, plants, and grasses), new irrigation, and new lighting. There was no task, large or small, that Danielle and her fantastic crew didn’t handle with great care, and there was outstanding communication from beginning to end. We got great advice and guidance when we needed it, with our goals for how we (and our dog) want to use the spaces always kept at the forefront. And the education and support for maintaining the new yards has been outstanding. If there were more stars, we’d give them.

I had a wonderful experience working with Danielle and her team. Danielle was referred to me by our landscape designer who also only had positive things to say about her and her work. She took the original design for our front and back yards and brought it to fruition perfectly (and ahead of schedule). Danielle was extremely communicative, knowledgeable and reliable throughout the entire process and also taught me a lot about how to keep the yards looking their best from here on out. Highly recommend!
